Our next radio single....we need your input!!

The Little Brother Band is going to release another song to radio this fall, but we're having a hard time deciding which one to release. So, we're looking to you, our fans, to help us narrow it down. Which song from "Thicker Than Water" would YOU like to hear on the radio? If you don't have the album, you can hear samples of the tracks here or listen to full tracks on our Myspace page. Here is our shortlist, but if your favourite is not on it, please let us know what it is!

Summer Festivals 2010

We are so grateful for the spectacular venues we have been able to play at this summer. We kicked the season off with an appearance at Ocean Park Days in South Surrey with some enthusiastic little dancers who might have entertained the crowd more then us as they busted a few moves in front of the stage.  In Kamloops we played an evening show at Riverside Park (Music in the Park) to a huge crowd of relaxed, happy people in their lawnchairs. Who could look out at that and not feel relaxed and happy too? The first week of August was a busy one, with three festivals lined up. We played on the mainstage with a lovely vista of the pier and setting sun at White Rock's Spirit of the Sea festival, enjoyed the excitement of Tsawwassen's Sunfest, and trekked up to Penticton for a sweltering (literally) set at Peachfest. Good thing there was a lake close by to jump into! This past weekend, we rounded off the season with an absolutely amazing trip up to the Blind Channel Resort www.blindchannel.com on West Thurlow Island (north of Desolation Sound, between Vancouver Island and the Mainland.) This was definitely our most off-the-beaten-path show ever, and we carted our gear on a ferry, logging roads, and a water taxi, but wow, was it ever worth the trip! The Richter family celebrated their 40th anniversary of operating the resort and the marina was filled with boats belonging to neighbours and tourists who had come up for the party. Spectacular food (Anatole is a gifted chef!), stunning scenery, supportive enthusiasm of the party guests, and the super hospitality of Eliot, Laura, and the entire Richter family, not to mention all of the staff, made this 'gig' feel more like a holiday. A big thank you to Anthony (and his son Charles) from Apple Auto Glass in Cambpell River for helping us out by ingeniously MacGyvering (yes, it is now a verb) Wes's truck window so that we could park it safely, then refusing to let us pay him -- island hospitality rocks! When we sit back and reflect on all of the interesting and beautiful places that music has taken us over the past years, and all of the fantastic people we have met, we feel truly blessed. Thank you to everyone who helps us to do this, by coming to shows, booking us for shows, buying albums, and recommending our music to others. We look forward to continuing to do this for a long time yet!
